Hi, I’m Mika Burks, owner and baker.
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, the taste and design of my baked items reflect how I grew up.
As in Japanese cuisine, I value the natural flavor of ingredients, so my baked items have a delicate taste without being overpowered by sweetness.
I also take great pride in creating exquisite design for custom design icing cookies. I strive to create unique design ideas with perfect color combinations to meet my client’s needs.
Of course, everything taste as good as they look! I use carefully selected ingredients, such as King Arthur flour, Land O’Lakes butter, non-hormone and/or cage-free eggs for all the items, and organic natural raisin “levain” (a yeast/starter) for bread.
Birthday, wedding, anniversary or any other occasions, I am happy to be a part of your special day by providing my baked items. I guarantee that they make you and your guests smile with every bite.
Complete Wilton Cake Decoration Course in the U.S., and certified as an official icing cookie decoration instructor by Japan Salonaise Association (JSA), Japan’s largest cookie decorators association.
In addition to custom order, our cookies are available at various local events, including pop-up shop at Williams-Sonoma and donation/sales for the metro-Atlanta charity events. Contact us for more details.
